I do agree we should cut it off. For the heck of it, I played with the e-brake this morning while getting out of the driveway, and the car behaved just like my previous experiences. In reverse, the back end lifted. In forward, the front end lifted.
I guess if your experience is different, then we'll have to agree to disagree.
