An excellent analogy! Sort of goes hand in hand with Pierre's thoughts as to bump junkies in general -- quick, agile feet coupled with rock solid balance. Although we may not all care for this type of bump skiing, it is difficult to deny the skills involved.
I myself prefer this brand of bumpin'...My soul feeds off of the rapid fire, machine gunners pace of competitive mogul skiing!!
