Today on a trawler boating discussion forum a question was asked as to why Indonesian teak has climbed 35% in price in the last month. The reason stated was that Indonesia had restricted the cutting of teak forests. The second paragraph was as follows.
To which the reply came back
|"...Teak is the least of our worries - besides, "Burma" and
Thai teak is better and also restricted. There are allot of unemployed
elephants right now."
|Sooo... Even working for peanuts is no indication of job security
