Howdy all, I just signed on and wanted to say Hey Now! I just recently broke out the old Kastle RX National Team Slolom 205's and went for a rip. Little to my surprise, every one was lookin at me and my sticks kinda funny like they were made of wood or something. After lookin around all day and talkin to my buds I figured it might be time to upgrade. Atomic M9 178 is what I ended up with. What do all yall think of this ski. I am about 5'11 235lbs (I'm workin on it) and like the steep groomed stuff. I'm kind tore up orthopedicly speaking. According to my local guy, this was a decent ski for what I do. Wuddda ya think.

If you were skiing that old RX national and you are 235, you will be fine in that 178 M:IX. Get out and rip.

I've got a pair of those in the basement. I have great memories associated with those skis but when I ski on the I feel little nostalgia and a lot of boredom. The new skis will be a blast and should change your skiing style for several years to come. Welcome to the miracle of modern skis.
