A couple years ago, my brother and I used to ski XX's (from about 3 season's back) as our all-mtn./occassional park skis. Contrary to what has been said, the XX actually had it's normal mounting point moved forward (like a park ski, but not as extreme), to account for the flared tail. They were great for fakie landings, but not so good for take-offs. With some Ti Sallie bindings, they were pretty light, too.
However, compared to a ski like an '05 PE, they just don't compare for park/all. mtn. use.
