You sure about that? I've been told that unlike the R:ex and TM:ex, the TeleDaddy and SugarDaddy are actually the same, minus the plate. Reports from the field comfirm this...
An even flex is good for alpine too. Even if it is a touch softer, that's a good thing in AT bindings.
If you're touring on something over 90mm, the teledaddy would be my first choice. I tour on a R:ex and Fritschi Freeride setup, because we encounter windswept ice as well as powder in our BC. So far, I'm very pleased, though I don't like the flat mount of the Freerides... makes is tough to pressure the tips. I prefer the touch of forward lean most alpine bindings have.
