Anyone ski the K2 Escape 5500? - Page 4

Back then I obviously thought the Mustang Ghia was the best looking.

Now, every time I see an eggcrate-grill Fox I shudder and have flashbacks to carbs that vapor locked in traffic every other hot day, to sunroofs that leaked and interiors that stank of mould, to clutches that got greasier and greasier feeling as the coolant temp rose, and to starters that would (hopefully)!  last longer than 3 school semesters.

And my friend had a '79 Trans Am with the chicken.    I was down even in chick appeal.

Heh. My 1984 had starter where one of the bolt holes was broken off the starter housing. I didn't bother to change out the starter for an embarrassingly long time. That meant that every month or so the other bolt would vibrate loose and the starter would pop out.

When that happened, I would crawl under the car and push the starter in while having some stranger crank it so I could get home.

I had a pop-up "moonroof" in my Mustang. It leaked.
