It's been hacked.

I had problems this morning too. I just assumed it was ineptitude on my part.

If it was hacked, you don't suppose it was some fiendish Austrian who was upset with todays WC results? :

Bob

Does anyone know how skilled Toni Sailer is at hacking?

I think it was Europeans. They make defective products, and are so bad tempered when defeated...

I got a message in bad English, saying something like "I own you...blah blah blah". I had a moment of panic, thinking I might have a virus, so it's kind of good to see that it was the website, not my computer. :

I was getting the same cryptic message also...At first I thought it was my computer..but its working again now.

Also, can't seem to get on the snowjournal site? Has anyone had those difficulties?

Not unless it's a reincarnation of Braxton Bragg the famous Confederate general who would argue with himself when he ran out of others to argue with. Once placed himself under arrest for insubordination.

You'll probably have to pay for that statement one day.

DChan, you seem so confident in this IP address checking, but there are many ways to get on the internet, from dialup to DSL, etc. If someone wanted to come in to the Forum on a different IP it would be pretty easy to do. They could, for example, setup an AOL account, or use another ISP of some kind.

I'm aware of this.

It's just a simple way to explain for most people. I do have a little more insight on what's going on in the forum than most. And the average member here probably won't find it worth the time and effort nor do most people have the skills that warrant it just to get reconnected for a week.
