Is anyone done for the year?

My schedule through mid April is a PITA and unless I his a 50 deg blue-bird day on a Friday or Sunday..I think I might be done.

Not me. Still got two extended trips planned - Loon and Sugarloaf for Reggae Fest. I'll probably have a few day trips in there too. The conditions in the NE are fantastic right now!

Speaking for myself, I hope not. Speaking to you, I hope not also. Weird thing about us skiers, or me at least. I think winter is too short and summer is too long. You can call the guys in the white jackets now. LewBob

Unfortunately I think I am. The lack of snow here in the PNW has made for an abissmal ski season, and looking at the forecast I dont see anyway enough snow would fall to make it worth skiing. Usually there is great skiing around here for another month or more.

This has been the worst ski season here I can remember, at least I made it to Tahoe for a great trip.

I'm not done but most of the people I ski with are. We still have plenty of snow but since it feels like spring in town everyone's looking forward to their summer activities.

Don't stop.

28 consecutive months and counting.............

Here in the NE it just feels like it's starting, I've had my first great skiing trips in the past three weeks. December and January were a total disaster. I'm sure going to try and squeeze another ten days or more before I retreat to my freezer for the summer.

Good for you! If I were wealthy, I'd be travelling to ski, too.:

Just getting started! Saturday- Friday: Whiteface...Jay....possibly Sugarbush, Okemo or Magic.

Can't wait.
Sorry to hear that Phil.
Not me though, plans ending in May at Tuck's.
One more day left at Vail on my Colorado Pass. Then it's Breck and Keystone until they close late April... Loveland through mid-May. Hopefully I'll finish up the season early July at A-Basin. There is always the Sand Dunes in August... Time off for a couple of epic mountain bike rides and October is right around the corner again.

Nope!
Finished? No. I don't need perfect conditions, just enough snow to slide on. I'll be skiing WB through June if they'll let me. Once I feel rocks poking through the bottom of my boots, I'll stop. Maybe.
We might as well be done in the PNW. I have not skied in Washington since January. My trips are done, and unless something very unusual happens I'll probably be packing it in. I usually ski until the very last day, but this year it is truly not worth the effort. I can find other stuff to do until next season.

I put in only 13 days this season. It's depressing.
No way, it's only just turning on here on the least coast. I'll get in another 5-10 days by May 1.

Mammoth next week then on to Chile or Australia, "coming dear" oh in my dreams. Should be some good spring skiing left. I don't want it to stop!!!!! Who needs summer any who?

Hey Phil!!!!!!!!!!!

Since you won't be needing your skis, why don't you send them to me? I'll keep the rust off of the edges for you!

Would you do that for me? what a guy. If you were close, you would be welcome to take 'em for a day or so, but too far.

no, nO, NO! 3 days in Utah starting Friday and then a week in Aspen with the ski shop crew. We're closing the place down. Who knows, maybe another day left to hit Whitetail in between?

Way to go, SV!

I hope you realize, however, that you've contracted a very rare, and very dangerous disease. Consecutive-month skiing is more addictive than crack cocaine.

I'm not really trying to upstage you, but March is an "ends-in-zero" month for me so I'm pretty excited. I've now skied 90 consecutive months.

If the good Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise, I'll hit 100 straight months next New Year's Day and then maybe I can kick the habit and stop the madness.

Not me, I have to ski my age, 51 days last year, this year need to ski 52. Got 44 in so far, so looks good.

It does seem that in the NE things are just getting started. I have my trip planned to Mt Snow next weekend, and I will probably hit up Jiminy at least once this weekend, if not twice.

I am still trying to convince my friend to take a ride up to Jay Peak, but we are running out of weekends. We'll have to see about that.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!?!?! More day trips and a coupla weekends for me still. Might try to sneak in a trip to Tucks, too. Phil, you need a new admin assistant 'cause that type of scheduling has gotta stop!!

And hats off to SV and BP on the streaks.
My season is just starting. I've only got about 35 days in so far and the best is yet to come.
Bag on spring skiing!? Yeah, that might happen. Hero snow, lack of crowds, scantily clad women. Sorry you are so busy Phil! 50 degree sunny fridays and sundays happen, you aren't done. Who are you kidding?

Stop in March? Last year we were disappointed when ABasin closed in late May! Oh, the weeping and gnashing of teeth that caused!

I understand that the East Wall only opened about ten days ago anyway. Things looked good there last week, great coverage, and it's cloudy this week so things are probably getting even better.
I'm hoping to ski through end of May and possibly June.

August I've got tentativ planst going waaaaay south to Portillo, Chile.
When you are hitting stuff like this a day ago
