I agree, but have abackup lock with you as well. Mt. Snow VT is supposed to have them, the website above says they do and they did 2 years ago, but this past season they were not there. Also, at other areas many skiers who do not use the locking feature stuff their skis into it and take up all of the spaces.
I'd look at some of the other posts as well, there are many great locks out there.
I have a recoiler...that doesn't recoil and hasn't since the second time I used it. I sent the company an email and they told me to bring it back to the dealer. I explained that the dealer was in Canada,but they still insisted that I bring it back. It is still able to be used, I just have to hand feed the cord back in.
