Can't agree with you more!

For Snowmiser, I recommend the 161 as she's strong enough to ski it in just about every condition (I skied the 161 in the bumps and crud and overwhelmed it for sure, while on the groom I had fun on it).
I haven't spoken to one person (man or woman) who didn't rave about this ski so far!
I just returned from a Women in Motion 3-day clinic at Stowe, VT, where the local Volkl representative was kind enough to allow us to demo the Attiva. Just to give you an idea of how well received it was, out of 18 women (plus 4 instructors--don't know if any of the others demo'd the Attivas, but my instructor did and loved them), 5 bought the ski on the spot. I didn't hear any negative comments about it. Including the instructors, we were all intermediate to advanced level skiers.
I just bought 2 new pairs of skis earlier this season and thought I was done buying skis for a while until I tried the Attivas. Now I have 3 pairs of skis. We had very slick, icy conditions at the top of the mountain (high winds blew the snow right off the surface) on Tuesday and these skis performed amazingly well, even on the iciest parts of the mountain. I picked up my skis Thursday and skied on them yesterday--they're everything I expected they would be!
