The C9 is Atomic's #1 Selling ski in 2004. At 64mm waist and 15m turn radius, this is a good everyman's ski for groomers.
Upon moving out West, you will catch the desire to sometimes branch out into untamed bowls, powder stashes, fluffy glades and the like. You will need an all-mountain ski capable of handling the deep and the crud.
Or, you may want to ski the C9 when a sunny High has parked over your region, and pull out a true fat powder ski when the action starts.
After you ski on those for a full season, plus a bit, in the east, you'll likely be ready to consider new skis when you start skiing in the deep stuff in January, 2007. In the meantime, enjoy the C:9s, work on your skills, and improve as you anticipate the experience of Mt. Hood and all the rest that the Cascades have to offer.
