Hey,

Has anyone flipped the lower buckles on their boots to keep them from coming undone every time you posthole through the snow while walking.

Some Alpine touring boots are built this way, and If I recall correctly some of the older Alpine boots had this feature (Who makes the Head boots?)

I have found none of the ski shops around that will consider this useful modification. I think it muight be worth the effort.

Oh, I patrol, so end up out of my skis in deep snow all to often. When I do, and the buckle loosens, guess where all that soft snow ends up? Sometimes I put tape across the bottom seam, but that only lasts so long.

TIA
