Quick binding question:

With Rossignol's X-Pulsion plate (RPM 21 skis), is it overkill to go with a T-Plate binding? These skis will be used at least 50% of the time in the crud, trees and bumps, and I've never skied on lifters before.

I picked up a pair of Rossignol Axial Race 100 T-Plate bindings. Is the T-Plate optional? Will any Axial binding work on the X-Pulsion plate? Any reason to go with the 120 over the 100 other than the higher DIN? (I'll be set in at DIN 7-8).
