Parental abuse!

My Son called today to tell me that he has been skiing waist deep powder all morning and most of the week. Steamboat is getting hammered with three feet plus in the past four days.

The kid only calls to rub it in or ask for money. Is this Parental abuse?

I'm sure you're happy for him. Having said that its got to be tough. This weekend around here looks like it will be half decent.

Waist deep doesn't appear to be in the forecast however. I'll settle for more machine groomed than frozen granular.

He stopped to call, before the lifts closed? You obviously didn't raise that kid right.

(On the other hand, what am I doing at work today?)

He always quits early so he can make it to classes. You know what else he told me? My new B3's are awesome in powder.

What do you mean? He called from the lift on the cell phone daddy bought him!

I wish we had that snow here! We have been in a melt cycle again!

I think you should deliver the money in person.

He can meet me at the #1 lift at Loveland, 9am tomorrow.

Can't go Saturday or Sunday because of the incoming blizzard!

Well, if that is true then you should be thrilled. You should aslo be thrilled that he picked such a nice ski. And coming from someone in his situation a few years ago, he really appreciates it.
