Volkl P50 F1 Plate Adjustment Pin

Just got a new pair of Volkl P50 F1's, the green ones, at 188cm. Skied them today. Very nice. The plate on these is pre-drilled for Markers. The plate has a series of holes from side to side, with one adjustment pin that can be moved fore or aft to adjust the flex. Does anone know anything about this? I'd like to make the nose softer and tail stiffer, if this is possible.

Volkl Lifter Pin

No adjustment is possible on these lifter. The pin is fixed. The other holes are there simply to enable the plate to flex more.

Nightcat,

There are 3 positions for that pin. It believe it came from the factory in the middle (N) position. If you move it to the rear, you will increase the energy to the tail of the ski.

This is a big help--many thanks!

This is the same Idea on the new volkl systems, the race and higher performance have the binding fixed in the rear (for more power out of the turns). And the entry and mid level skis have the binding fixed in the middle (for a smother carve).
