Nordica Doberman 130 Boots

I recently bought a new pair of Nordica 130 Doberman boots size #6, (I think that #6 corresponds to 25.5) that, although I've had blown out and canted , I can't wear without immediate considerable pain. My feet and this boot simply don't fit. I have less than 2 hours in them on snow and will sell them for $100 or best offer over that by 2/20/2005. Buyer pays shipping from Stowe, Vermont

what is the sole length? Is this a Euro 6 or a US 6 (25.5 would normally be a 7/7.5 US

This is a euro 6 is us 7 or 255. Beware, these boots run long because of the super thin liner with a neoprene toe box.
This is a insanr boot for an unreal price. I will let some people know about this price.
Good luck.
Have you gone to see pj dewey about getting it fit? This boot has a lot of adjustablility to it.

Why would you go to PJ when there are many more bootfitters than can do a much better job than him. He can work on Lange's , I will give him that!

Thats a sweet deal, I need to go to the shop and see if a 299mm is even a possibilty for me. I ski a 303mm tecnica in a XT 24 so it might be close.

I really liked and wanted these specific boots. I did get them them from PJ. He worked for hours trying to make them fit me, but as I said in my original post, it's my fault, not his - my feet just aren't made for these boots. Be aware that they've been blown out and canted for me, so they're wider in the forefoot and canted one degree in.

Sorry - I goofed. The sole length is 285mm. I read the wrong pair!!

Ok, sounds like it is a US 6 then, probably a 24.5 MP

Don't know, but I was told that the "6"on the side was a "euro 6" - and the sole length is definitely 285mm. If the "6" is a 24.5, there's a good reason I couldn't wear it - my other boots are 26.5!

there is something wrong here. The 6 is definatly a euro 6, us 7 or a 255 which should be a 295 ( or something around there) sole length. THe boots are made with euro sizes on the side, no exceptions. SO the 284 is a 245 or euro 5 us 6. Anyway thought you might want to know that.

Nothing wrong - I took the sole measurement off the wrong pair of my boots. The number "6" is on the heel side of the boots and the sole length on the boots is 285mm. My old boots are 26.5 (US) and have a sole length of 299. I can't wear the Dobermans because they're too sort and too narrow and too cold. My mistake in trying to have PJ make them fit.

Dobie's

Can you recheck the sole length and maybe even measure it?

I will take them if they are a 6.

I have the Dobie Soft which is = to the current 150. Mine say 295 and 6 on the heal side. If they are a 6 and 295 (the 9 looks suspiciously like an 8) I will take them.

I've checked and they are 295, not 285 and are a size 6. Wife's glasses helped a lot. I've emailed you pictures.

On my Dobies (courtesy of PJ of course):
UK (*not* Euro, though the UK is in Europe) 7 = 305mm
. . . and then more roughly speaking, that typically translates into a US 8, or a mondo 26.5, or Euro 42 or so.
