Jes' fine. Notice that the side cut matches that of c.a. Y2K GS/AME skis (p40 PT, say). I sized mine by height (180cm), as seen here for a quite narrower ski.

Not at all! At your weight, the flex may be an issue, but I'd rather have less snow to push out of the way when skinning.

Don't forget, you're supposed to climb with them, too!

K2 8611 AT skis

Does anyone know anything about the K2 8611 AT skis? They are supposedly a popular AT ski in Europe, and are on sale for the preposterously low price of $103 at sierratradingpost.com. How would an advanced skier (5'8, 125 lbs) like these, considering that I am on Atomic R:ex's for my inbounds ski. Would I find this too narrow in the backcountry? dimensions are 102-70-91. (I know- maybe I should have put Daimars on the Rex's)
