Ski one for the dawg.

Normally, my ass would be on the JetBlue redeye tomorrow, but I'm filling in for a guy in a real jam at work. So you'll have to get by without me.

I know it'll be tough, but stay with it. lt Alta/Bird is gonna be the shizznizzle.

They posted this picture today 2/7/05, and I just had to ask...can the snow really be that deep, or is that just a short guy on skinny skis? Utah, what a dump!

Pic looks like he is skiing into a small gully making it loo as if there is alot deeper snow, but yes it can get that deep.

Having skied in Utah a reasonable amount I would say that I've never "seen" it like that. Of course there have been many times where I have had to ski blind!

I've skied chest deep under the Snowbird Tram. Worst thing I ever did, been chasing the high ever since.
