I am looking to pick up a second pair of skis which will primarily be used for messing around in the park. I really enjoy jumping, dropping in half pipe, and I started hitting rails this season.

Being as this are going to be a second pair, and not used as often as primary skis, I dont want to spend too much. I have been looking at some skis people are selling around here, and on ebay.

One thing I have noticed is that a fair amount of twin tip skis have a very small tail height. For example, I am looking at a couple pairs of older lines (darksides, fx7.3 carbon), among others. Are these smaller tails going to be a problem for riding backwards, landing backwards ? Being as these are going to be pure park skis, I want to make sure that even if they are used, they will work for me.
