What Do You Guys Look Like? - Page 35

Backpacking this August 2012 climbing offtrail down steep talus below Silver Fox Pass at 11k in the John Muir Wilderness carrying about 65 pounds.  Yep that is an Ursack strapped to the top.  The bulge in front in the nylon shell is not my belly haha but rather a Canon SX130 in the pocket.  We were out 9 days, caught a lot of trout, took a lot of pics.  Will add a recent ski pic here on my new S7's below a train of SSS turns after the new season starts.

I had 2 more here, but I decided to take them down because I was not alone in the pictures and I am not sure the person in them wants to be online or not : )  So I'm just going with the above 3 I guess : )

Dane, Talk about inspiration, you beat me by a long shot.

Ha!  A buddy tells me a story of a retired guy that simply skis his late 30's Intstructors legs off every time they meet up.   Seems the "old" guy hardly even works to turn his skis and mountian air is  liquid hydrogen to his engine.  He simply pummels my young friend.

Turns out the retired guy just turned 71.   I'll be happy to just get on the sticks next year :)

From the age of 23,  the number 40 seemed old.  Now at 60 I still feel like I am just past 23.  Still working to process  the numbers against the reality.

30+ year more to rock some great skiing?  How cool is that!  Thanks for the reality check MrSKi!
