How's Silverstar & Big White holding up?

Pleased I'm not booked to go to Whistler.
But anybody know how Silverstar and Big White are holding up?
Heading out that way in a few days.
Flying into Kelowna with the thought to hire a car and head for Banff if needed. Don't really want to. It's a couple of days driving there and back, with added expense and time like life is short.
Any news is news but snow would be good news!

Both BW and SS should be decent. The temps have been warmish but the rains haven't hit hard. It has been damp, but not Whistler wet. I'm heading to BW for retailer intro/launch on the 2nd and 3rd of Feb, and then up to SS for a ski day on Friday and Demos on the weekend. I can post how it was if I get reminded.

I was just up a Big White. We were worried based on reports from other areas, but pleased to find conditions were much better than expected. Yesterday morning there was a few inches of powder and sunshine. Over the last week conditions were good in the mornings and got a bit soft lower in the mountain late in the day. You pretty much have to stick to the groomed runs, as its very hard in the trees, but coverage was good. Avoid the Gem lake side, its lower down and much less snow. We have never seen spring skiing conditions in January before, but from what I am seeing at other resorts, Big White looks to be in much better shape.

Time to Go

Thanks for those updates.
We're on the plane tomorrow morning and looking forward to it.
