Marker 3000 (1400/1800) Comp bindings. World Cup stock, Din to 30

I have a set of Marker 3000 comp bindings off the world cup. These are all metal, like the 1800 and the din goes up to 30. These would be great for someone to throw on their Downhill, SG or GS boards. Bindings have the red/white color scheme but it is slightly different then the sotck 1400 paint job. $250 OBO

Just curious - if DIN goes to 30 on these, what's the lowest setting ?

I believe it is 15 on the low end... I don't have them in front of me but I am 99% sure on that... I can check when I go home.

eep!

DIN 30...!

Why not just weld them to your boots? Anyone know what torque values that corresponds to?

(Or I could just google.)

DIN 30 corresponds to a twisting release of 227.3 N.m of force, or 167lb.ft. and a forward release of 380 N.m, or 280 lb.ft.

For contrast, the lugnuts on automobile wheels are tightened to only 80 ft.lb!!!

Daeeeemn.

I agree that 30 is crazy, but anyone who has ever raced knows how much it sucks to have your skis come off. Cranking Dins to 15, 18, 20 or whatever the max on the particular binding is actually very common. These actually came off World Cup Slalom skis!! For mortals, these would be best for speed events!
