I bought a pair of Leki Titanium with the clip-ins. Expensive - $130. But, as light as composites and much stronger. As previously stated, the clip-in's freeze-up in cold weather. You've gotta blow hot air to unfreeze the mechanism.
I loved them, until they were stolen last week at Sunshine. I still had the clip-in's on my gloves, so they didn't get the whole enchildada.
Next time, I'll spend 1/2 the amount on a pair of good (Goode?) composites. I'm not hucking 20 footers anymore, so I figure I can give-up on the invicibility of Titanium.
IMO, aluminum is heavy, esp. after trying titanium.
