Help with Skis!

Thread Starter
Hello, I have been skiing recreationally for the past two years and have finally decided to buy my own skis. The only problem is that I have no idea which ones would be good for me. I am 5'6" and 195 pounds. I ski mostly downhill on groomed snow, but I need a ski that will withstand my weight if I decide to hit a jump or two every now and then. As far as my experience level, I can ski anything on the mountain. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for narrowing it down.

So many choices, so little time.

My advice....demo, DEMO, D-E-M-O!

I have seen quite a few good deals on R10s too. Not intending to hijack this thread but what's the difference between the R10 and R11. I think I skied the R11 last year and liked it a lot.

What would be a good length for my height/weight?
