R U ready for some FOOTBALL??

Well, there is a 'blizzard' here in the Northeast. Currently, there is 17" ..and counting ..sitting in my driveway. Unfortunately, the wind is blowing between 30-50mph.
I have new batteries in the remote.....I have collected as much junk food as I could find....plenty of libation. Lets hope the power stays on since my Father stole my generator.

I'm thinking Eagles and Patriots.:
Enjoy the games everyone

guess its time to start shoveling
Iggles & Pats, but I want the Stillers.
We have over 2' hear in Central Mass, light fluffy - I just shovelled for a while - reminds me of the blizzard of '78 but lighter snow, walking in it over my knees.
This would be a big day even in Colorado! So I'm stuck here with a cold and too far to get to the mountain.

As you said Shen, biggest concern is losing power for the game - boy would that be a drag!

Wow, Patsie look supernatural. Brady is 7-0 in the playoffs and Belichick is a genius, wideouts playing D-back and.... ohmygod, Dillion is going to play and will no doubt run for 200 yds. The star two way linebaker couldn't crack the starting lineup when he was with Pittsburgh. Whats wrong with Cowher, he could never spot true talent! New England is the epitome of TEAM. Stillers might as well roll over and die.

Snopro says the certificate is in the mail. I should have taken Sunday to demo but my head was elsewhere that day and I forgot that the demo vans were there. I need a good eastern all mountain ski because my RPMs are getting tattered so I'm thinking Crossfires. I hope to demo before I select.

As for the PA Ridge Racer, well don't hold your breath.

The Patsies are going to stink up Heinz Field like a Patsie fan with a bad case of flatulence after consuming too much Boston bean hype.

Well, you may get your skis before the Stillers get to the Superbowl. Hopefully however not after Brady's third Superbowl MVP - you'll need new skis to make you feel better after all.

Now for such a nice man, why resort to personal statements like that. It is only a game after all. :

Aha, I've flushed out another Yankees fan. I grew up on Long Island and thought that would make you a Mets fan

Well even the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry and the anger between the opposing fans really should be limited to the nasty ones. I will admit that some Yankees fans (does the "yeah, yeah, so what see you in 2090" signature ring a bell) do make many of us Sox fans pretty disgusted - and I'm sure many of the Sox fans do the same to Yankees fans - but it's just a great rivalry. We are all just people and our allegiances to our beloved sports teams shouldn't make us enemies with each other.

Some playful insults (to the teams and players preferably) is fine of course - and your flatulence line wasn't that bad (I pause here to let some gas out,) but our world is too full of hatred right now.

Peace begins at home after all. Some of my best friends are Yankees fans. Even some of them are Republicans. :

Shen, I grew up in Great Neck, left as soon as I graduated High School and never been back.

Ski plans are probably not getting up to Vt next weekend, but will let you know if I can. I'd like to ski with you sometime (even if you are a $(&(*#_$*%$# Yankees Fan

Hey guys, I thought this thread was about football!!??

Just to let yunz guys know, my smack talk is all in good fun. The AFC game is gonna be a good one, both teams are good, both teams had fantastic seasons but the road to the Super Bowl goes through Pittsburgh, I'm just hoping that the road is not a 'freeway'.

Two hours to go - back sore from shovelling - skiing tomorrow!

Dillon 80 yards. Brady 2 TD's, Sacked once, 1 Interception.

Final score:

Eagles/Patriots - All Americana!

So I don't know much about the Eagles. Will they look as unmatched to the Patriots as the Colts and Steelers do?

IMO the Pats will be a (well deserved) 5 point favorite.

That was pretty impressive performance.

The Brady Bunch lives

I heard last week that none of the Patriots wear their superbowl rings.

Belicheck really has those guys in the right frame of mind. Great players - but it's the team mentality and the play calls that really put them over the top.

J E T S JETS JETS JETS. lOOKS. Looks like the Pats are in.

Phil, If you are a betting man....Then you will love the Patriots at 5. The early line is closer to 7.
