So here's the story,

Last year I was having fun on a pair of snowblades, but this year I want to go back to skiing. I've been skiing since I was about 3 years old and I ski +-15 days a year. I'm a level 7-8 skier I think. I can ski anything on the mountain, but I prefer to stay on the slopes, about 80-20 %. I'm 5'6" and 145lbs and I like to go pretty fast. I've been on atomic carve ski's (can't remember which ones) 3 years before the snowblade thing.

Now the real problem is; my dad bought me a pair of 02/03 Volant Vertex 66 for my birthday. After searching on the internet I ended up here(which is a good thing) and learned that these skis are womens ski's. The good thing is I can switch the skis anytime I want at the shop my dad bought them, and I do want to switch them because I believe I can get better skis for 400 Euro ($520). I'm willing to pay up to 500 euro incl. binding ($650). So what do you guys think about it? I was thinking about some fischer RX6 or a Metron 10 maybe if I can get it at that price? The shop was pretty
expensive i think, looking at the 400 euros my dad paid for those skis :.
