EdgeByter's account of the PC wet t-shirt contest is pretty much the way it came down. He was right when he wrote we put our very expensive camera and tape recorder away. Our rented equipment and flying libations didn't mix. And there wasn't enough light. That being said, I was recruited as a judge and stayed until I thought things had gone about as far as they could go. Apparently I was wrong. Since then I've heard about the early AM on-stage adventures from one of the participants, and what I was told supports EdgeByter's version. There are stories from that night and the next morning that are probably better left untold. I heard the State came in the next morning and closed the place down. I didn't personally witness that, but it wouldn't surprise me a bit if it's true. You gott'a remember, it was the 70s.
It sounds like the Skier's version of Woodstock.....5 year's later.
