I have experience with the 2003 Darkside. I have pair of 165 , mounted with rossi axium binding. I'm 6' 205lbs. I have skied them in all types of terrain, they float well in moderate powder, to me they held good on eastern hard pack. Have skied them on groomers, bumps, trees. I am pretty harsh on my skis and they have taken everthing I have thrown at them. Hit some hard stuff in the woods at Killington before Xmas, i.e. rock or stump pretty hard on the base, I thought there would be damage but they were perfect. Have also done some pipe and park with some backwards skiing and the twin tips are great for that. I think for the money one can get Line skis for (especially on Ebay) they are a very good ski. Buy them!
