As a dyed in the wool gear whore, I religiously make the rounds of the used ski equipment stores, looking for that one set of skis that I absolutely have to own. The common thread on the skis that I've bought is that the bindings on used skis are usually scraped and dented, and just generally look pretty beat up. Is there some dead give-away indication I should be looking for that the bindings are no good? What should I be looking for when I'm inspecting a used binding?
