I had a pair of atomic bindings mounted to a pair of sx9s today (by an atomic "authorized" tech..but I'm not sure of the experience level) and the torque test failed - as in way too high for twisting out of the binding. The forward test was fine but lateral was not. Since this is a new shop and I'm in the middle of the flatlands, I'm questioning whether these were installed correctly. I can't remember the model of binding but it matches up with the ski...anyway does this happen much...the binding way out of spec in this way? I'm going to have another shop look at this before I send them back just to make sure but was curious.
