I'll be heading up to Beaver Creek on saturday. I'm sure the main runs will be skied off but they did get 2 feet which means there should be some stashes...Blown powder, mashed potatoes whatever...I just want deeper snow...not hardpack...Any recommendations other then double blacks??

I spent a week in vail/BC before christmas - when they didn't have great coverage (compared to now). the best snow conditions i found were on a run called "osprey" in BC. Its on Grouse mountain - I think. But it is a double-black !!!!!!

Try the trees between all of the blues in Bachelors Gulch. There are some defined runs, but the "non-defined" ones are the most fun and are less tracked out.

acsguitar, please post what you find after your visit to the Beav. I'm going to be there from 1/18 to 1/25 and would love to find some secret stashes.
