I was wondering, what are some good techniques (or tools) to help increase ankle flex. Currently, if I squat (for lack of a better word) my heels come up a little if my legs are closer (if I don't lift my heels, I fall back). I'd like to be able to squat without lifting my heels, and to do so I would need to be able my ankle area more (forward). Now, my wife can do this without lifting the heels... so I think it's doable, and I probably need a little more work/stretching.
