dunno about Steamboat, but I've been in Colo now for a week.
Did a day at Copper, a day at Loveland, and just wrapped a day at Telluride.
Conditions out here totally mirror Tahoe, maybe even worse. I brough my Mantras because of all the hype last week of another big storm. Said storm never came. There was a light dusting of about 2-5" Saturday night (but due to excessive partying in Frisco with a quartet of cuties, I bailed on hitting the fresh), but that's about it.
Copper was hardpack groomers and serious windblown wash out.
Loveland was about the same...the lift servicing the upper hike-to bowls wasn't even running
Telluride has tons of rocks, shrubs, and ice showing on a lot of their runs.
Wishing I had skinier skis this week...
And wishing I hadn't bought 5 books of Tahoe 6-Packs!
