Yaya, the rain turned to snow and there's 12 inches of freshies waiting for me. I'll report more later.
Hope everyone's having a good day.

After skiiing a day of ice in snowmass and a day of ice on Ajax followed rain the next day I was never so happy as to partake of the 13" of pow offered up by Aspen on Thursday. My muscles hurt so bad after working the snow over all day that was unable to make it the next day until 11:00 A.M. The groomers never felt better to my powder dead legs.

Skied on 9" of freshies at Lutsen today.

The holiday folks went home and the mountain was perfect.

Even the tree runs were open.

Amazing pics! Looks like you had a pro photog with you. Tantalizing!

That's one way to transcend glitz - go get your own!

As the Aussies say: "Good on ya"!

P.S. Do you need avalanch training with probes and shovels to do this terrain?
Its good to have some avalanche experience to go into this area. Flute Bowl has now been avvy controlled and is accessible by a half hour hike. The rest of the Singing Pass area has fresh lines though but it'd be a pain to boot pack.
