Looking at buying a pair of the B2's, let us know how they run when you get'em tuned up. There seems to be a wide variety of opinions (from too damp to high energy) which is expected but particularly for this ski. What other skis were you considering before you bought the B2's?

Tognar tools is a good place to start. www.tognar.com or something like that.

There are other post recently that deal with this topic, tuning skis.

Rossignol usually does a decent job finishing their upper end skis. You shouldn't have to do much to the ski before skiing them. I would recommend wiping them down with a citrus based cleaner to remove any grit & grime they might have picked up along the way then hot waxing them.

All good suggestions in the other posts, but if you have a pair of old skis, I would learn your tuning techniques on them first, before tackling the new Rossis.

I would just hot scrape them a couple of times with warm wax. Then wax and brush with the wax dejour and you will be ready to roll. I never tune them until I've had a chance ski them, you might really like the tune on them.
