Proper length for Volant Chubb V2 powder skis.

Hello everyone,
I am thinking of getting the Volant Chubb powder skis. I am 200lbs +5 after dinner , 5'11'' intermediate skier. I heard the Chubb is great for intermediate. I just want to know if 175mm lenght should be good for my weight or should it be longer.
Thanks for your inputs.

You should be fine with a 175. The chubb is a sweet ski and a good ski to have in the quiver.

With that ski, you can err on the short side.

Keeper 175mm

Ok I'll keep the Chubb 175mm skis. I order a pair from REI outlet. Now I have to get a wider 100mm brake according to the skitech.
Thanks everyone.

I saw some on sale at Sports Authority for $175 this past weekend and am wondering if I should have picked them up for the hell of it.

Hi, I just joined this site. I've enjoyed reading peoples insights and wanted to start asking questions myself. I'm 5'11, 168 lbs and would probably be considered expert skiier (I ski expert terrain all day but refrain from much hucking... getting older). I ski on Rossignol B2's in 175. I ski almost exclusively in Montana. If I wanted a powder ski to complement my Rossi's, would the Chubb or it's twin sister, the Machete FB be a great choice? I'm on a budget.
