Suggestions? WTB Dynastar Exclusive Legend

Interested in purchasing the new Dynastar Exclusive Legend (women-specific ski). It is hard to find an attractive price before the holidays - does anyone know where a 'deal' might be found this time of year?

Thanks. Mike (mzeoli@ybp.com)

Sorry for such a late reply on this, but you might want to check out Rodgers Ski & Sport in Lincoln, NH. They carry it for a decent price, I think. Merry Christmas!

Hey, thanks a lot NHSkier! Rodger's is a great suggestion - I'll stop in there.

Hope you're having a good Christmas despite the rain, lack of natural snow, etc. I sure hope it starts snowing some time soon...

Don't know about you, but we have 4+ inches of powder on the ground from last night in Bedford, NH. Wish I could hit the mountains!: How did you fare in your part of NH, Bearberry?

nh,

Down in 'Connecticut' New Hampshire (visiting relatives for the holiday), we got about 4"-6"... Just got back home to Barnstead (central NH) to find a measly ~3"... The good news is that Jay Peak got over a foot (that "Jay cloud' is a wonnerful thing!). Sunday River is reporting a half foot, which combined with their terrific snowmaking ought to make for some better than average skiing. Cannon claims to have gotten 8+ inches...

I can't wait to get out there. Gotta work tomorrow unfortunately, but it looks like much of the rest of the week will be spent 'evaluating' the various accumulations around nothern Vermont, Maine & NH....

Stilling waiting for that first real dump though...

3" of snow is better than the 3" of rain that fell late last week! I'll take snowmaking conditions anyday over the 50 degree+ weather (I'm sure you would too). Of course, a good nor'easter would certainly be nice!

Good news about Sunday River...we'll be there on Saturday, and Bretton Woods on Sunday (we'll have the 5 year old out, so Bretton works well for us).

Bretton Woods is great place to take the kids. I hear they opened some glades this year too. We'll be at Sunday River on Friday and Sugarloaf on Saturday... The rest is unclear... We want to get to Cannon this week and I'd like to get to Jay, possibly on Wednesday... But then there's that pesky job of mine and a mortgage to pay that keep interfering with my recreation schedule (and a wife to remind me of 'priorities' just when I've about convinced myself that one day less at the office won't bring the company down).

So, did you get her The Legends? If you did, you are tied with Mark for The Worlds's Best Husband Award!

She fell in love with some Elan Fusion Pro SX's, but I her convinced that she still needs to demo different kinds of skis, including the Legends. Hopefully they will have them at Sunday River or Bretton Woods this weekend!

I'll let you know what she ends up liking the most, but she will be getting skis one way or another! I'll be tied as world's best husband, as long as she gets what she wants, right?!! Isn't that all that matters in the end anyway? That the woman gets what she wants?

Mike,

Man, you sure are doing a lot of skiing in the next 10 days! At least as far as my standards are concerned with two small children. You lucky dog!! Have fun.

Yes, the skis are hers - ordered and paid for, just waiting for them to arrive in the shop now. We also have a line on some new Tecnica Diablo Race Pro 110s (now she has really wanted those, but they have been impossible to find in her size till now - been looking since November). It looks like the new year for the Mrs....

Sadly, it looks like just 3 days skiing max over the rest of the holiday - I was expecting for 4 or even 5. All work is making 'Jack' a really really dull boy.

Enjoy the skis, Lisa Marie, and happy hunting to you NH. - Mike
