Tom, I didn't mean that there is no rebound, just little compared to other Rossignols. My Chubbs ARE completely reboundless! But I see little need for big rebound with shorty slaloms, as there is not much need for big redirection between turns, which means not as much need for unweighting. And using the toe to heel routine doesn't really accomplish much on these skis. But, as this is the only shorty slalom I tried, I don't know if this is typical. In any event, I'm not a fan of big rebound (at least in freeskiing, and I don't race), and that's one reason I bought them. Did you try them?
