I have not been able to get up yet due to work and family obligations but the report from some who have been there is that it is good. Over 50 inches now, which gives it enough coverage for most of the hill. The rain begins tomorrow and lasts through the weekend so get up there now!
Sunday was fantastic and it has snowed 26" since then!! for tomorrow:
"TONIGHT...SHOWERS...DIMINISHING OVERNIGHT. SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 5 TO 7 INCHES...MAINLY THIS EVENING. SNOW LEVEL AROUND 3500 FEET. WEST WIND IN THE PASSES 10 TO 20 MPH.
.THURSDAY...OCCASIONAL RAIN AND SNOW. SNOW ACCUMULATION UP TO 4
INCHES. SNOW LEVEL 2500 FEET NORTH AND 4000 FEET SOUTH...RISING 1000 FEET INTO THE AFTERNOON."
Translated: not-quite-cement piled as high as you could like until the Pinapple bomb hits in the afternoon and the whole thing slides like mush to the bottom of the hill. Go early and bring something fat.
I was there on Wednesday, it was pretty good, coverage is great now, all runs are in good conditions, but show was really heavy (even for Baker), especially at the bottom part of the mountain. Great powder on top.
