Wasatch update copied from Alta's powder alert e-mail;



Dear Alta Skier!


We have had 6" of new snow today and expect another 6-9" tonite, and 4-7" tomorrow!* We'll see you on the slopes.


Settled Snow Depth:* 74"
New Snowfall: 6" overnight. 6" in past 24 hours
Snowfall this season: 190.5"

I skied Solitude today. By 2pm there was powder "over-boot" deep! And I'm no powder hound but I damn sure was today! There might have been 100 people on the mountain today...
I'd say it's snowed 18 inches by now (7:26pm mountain time).....gotta fly home tomorrow if we can make it to the airport.... :-(

18 inches new and 100 people on the mountain. Wow. I need to make a trip out west.
