Help - edge seperating on Atomics, repair possible?

Thread Starter
Got my season started this weekend up at Killington. I skied all Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, conditions were pretty decent. Saturday it was scary-crowded. Anyway, the reason for my post is that I noticed yesterday that the edge is starting to pull away from the base on one of my skis.

Location: Inside edge at midski (the edge is actually 2 pieces split at the middle of the ski), the front portion has started to seperate, maybe 1-2" of it. This is barely noticeable when the ski is dry.

Skis: Atomic Beta Race 9.20 - 3 years old.

Conditions/style of skiing: I ski in the northeast (primarily at Killington) about 40-50 days. So conditions are often firm-icy and I ski aggressively. I also spend a lot of times in the bumps (about 50%).

Can this be repaired and if so will these skis be safe to ski?

I've dropped them off at my local shop to take a look at them and see what they can do for me

I have to same problem with a pair of GS9's. I called atomic and they said I could take them to a dealer and he could send it to them and they could fix it, or replace it. Still haven't got around to doing it.
