Atomic E:7 VS. Omecarve 9

Anyone skiid both of these? They appear to be designed for similar type of quick turning type skiing. I am wanting to get one of these, the atomic in either the 168 or the Omecarve inthe 165. The atomic with bindings can be had for less than 300 bucks this week at my local shop..and around 299 for the Omecarves with bindings from cupolos (spelling)

I think that the skis are very different. I think Atomic's E: series is their recreational line (Dynastar's was Agyl, but I am not sure if they discontinued that lineup, you could check www.my-dynastar.com). The Omecarve, as their name suggests, were classified as a "carver," but Dynastar now segments them into the Race series. If you look at the sidecut and shape it's very similar to the Atomic SL:9 than anything else Atomic puts out. In fact, when I had them mounted, a racer brought in her SL:9's and a ski shop employee said to me: this ski has amost the same dimensions as yours.

I think you are comparing by price, not product.
