craving for volant info...

I read the posts - who are Gen-X? I've never heard of them! But so long as they do indeed have deep pockets, I'm happy. Means I don't have to buy more than a few pairs this year!

Am I to understand that this means they are officially and undoubtedly OUT of trouble? Please be true!...

From what I read, they are a lagre sporting goods outfit out of Toronto Canada. They own brands such as Tommy Armour Golf, Limited Snowboards umong other brands, you all remember them, they were once owned by Volant. The problem with Limited was in the name, as in Limited number of dealers. I had heard that they build more snowboards that Burton. They also own Oxogen that makes those kids scooters. I hope this helps, I do think that Volant does face some hurdles in the near future however in moving all the manufacturing to Europe.

Thanks NPNJ, that's great. Friend of mine has a small shop and Volant are a nig chunk of his business so we were getting a bit worried. Do you know where in Europe production will be? And why are they coming to Europe - surely it'll be just as expensive to make them here as in the US?!

Cheers

Euro production looks like it will be produced in Slovania in the Elan. Supposidly, Gex-X's snowboard production in teh highest in the industry, when you add up all of the labels they produce.
