Looking forward to new ski season.I need to choose between the K2 Apache Recon, and the Salomon Sream 10 Pilot Xtra Hot.Please help! Thanks.:

Recon. I think k2's apache series is going to blow everyone away this year. The side cut and low profile tip will make them different from anything else. The sallly's did not impress me. They felt brittle underfoot and didnt hold and edge as well as the K2's. Of Course you should demo and see what you perfer but I think the apaches are a better ski over all.

I`m looking for a all around, midfat ski for big western bowls, and steep fall line charging.Skipress mag.rated these skis very high.

Both very similar. Advantage- K2 for non-dedicated binding.

If the binding situation isn't an issue, go by price. Both will take you anywhere.
