I have this kid that clocks in at 80lbs.
he is a good, non racer that likes the new school park type skiing.
can any one recomend a good ski for him?
I told his mother to put him on a jr race ski.
but His mind is set on a twin tip ski.....kids go figure : .
thanks much, Paul

Most manufacturers offer junior twin tips. Atomic has the Tweak jr.

i would certainly suggest the k2 enemy jr. based upon the pure utility of the k2 enemy itself (assuming of course the k2 enemy is as good in the jr. bersion as it is in the adult version) simply because unlike many other twin tips, they still rip outside the park.

It doesn't matter what kids ski on as long as it's not too long. When my kid was 10 or so, he wanted a snowboard, but I insisted he had to ski. (If God wanted us to slide on one board, he would have given us one leg.) When he finally got a snowboard, he thought he was the baddest, most rebelious kid ever. Whatever you want for your kid, sooner or later he'll have his own ideas.

Look into the Line lineup. They have many shorter skis with relatively soft flex. They are great for the newschool thing.
