39 deg and raining here in Philly, where is it snowing in the east?

We got a little bit of snow here in northern CT before it turned back to a wet, sleety snow and then stopped all together. I don't think southern CT got any snow at all...

I'm in northeast Massachusetts and it's been lite snow showers all day. Wet snow with less than inch accumulation. Roads are wet. Temp is 30 degrees right now.

at least its snow. I'm in Westford, bout 35 miles northeast of Boston and we've been snowing all day, about an inch in the grass so far, nothing really sticking to the roads.

Already made the first snowman of the year (it was pretty small, bout 8 inches tall, and got a picture of it on the desk of a co-worker who hates the snow) and threw the first snowballs and heading to Killington to ski this weekend.

Today really psyched me up. After all, it's not even the middle of November yet. We can only hope this is a sign of things to come for us in the Northeast...

Snowline was through CT all day. It was raining when I left New Haven shortly after noon, but even downtown I noticed that tell-tale splatter on the windshield of a few mixed in snowflakes. At the house in southern Litchfield County we have maybe an inch of wet snow and sleet on the grassy surfaces. I really hope this is an early preview of a snowy winter!

Don't worry! It's going to snow like crazy anytime from the Nov 18th onward. I know this because it's my dumb luck that it will. I go in for an operation on the 18th. I have a 5-7 day hospital stay followed by a month of rest( read as not allowed to do anything!). So, since I just got a new pair of Volkl 5*'s, poles, and boots, Mother Nature will dump snow in epic amounts all across the east while I sit here looking out the window. Have fun and enjoy...this ones on me!

Soon to be layed-up in Pittsburgh,

Joe

yup, brain fart. I don't know why I typed that, oh well, thanks for correcting, and its still snowing ever so lightly at 1:00 AM, but we only got a total of aa little over an inch I'd sa in the grass and its just starting to get up to about a half an inch on the backroads.

Every thing is wearing a nice white coat here in NW NJ this morning. Less than an inch but it sure is perty.

We ended up with close to 6" in Northern Worcester County, MA. Really pretty morning with the sun on the fresh fallen snow and the trees covered and drooping.

About 4-5" all in. Very pretty. And I can't see the fallen leaves on my lawn that I haven't raked yet. I call that win-win!

No snow in Toronto. I am still mountain biking, although many of the trails are littered with trees/branches and other debris, since maintenance has stopped. Tremblant is supposed to open on November 19, but it will be based on artificial snow. I shall be going there soon after opening day.
