I have only used straight poles for GS in the past, but was wondering if GS poles with a slight bend are helpful or not when grabbing a tuck. Any thoughts?

I am running "real" gs in races/training, but I never really considered GS poles before. I was always on a budget (still am). Our training hill and most races around here are quite flat-you can tuck for 1/3 or more of the course, so they might be helpful. I work in a shop, GS poles from Scott are only $17 on shop form, $32 from Swix. I would never spend $80 though, but for $17-I can sell them at the end of the season used for more than that!
