First post on here and unfortunately it's a negative one. Although definitely an awesome site.....anyways:
Here's my story with Cupolo's which I've documented as well, but unfortunately joined this site after winning a bid on Ebay.
Oct 24, 2004 Bid and purchased a pair of skis from Cupolo's online
Oct 24, 2004 (within one hour) Paid via Paypal for skiis, included mounting instructings along with paypal payment
Oct 26, 2004 Sent e-mail to Cupolo's inquring if everything was okay and payment was received to their accounting office.
Oct 28th, 2004 Received automated e-mail of payment confirmation
Oct 28th, 2004 Received automated e-mail with Fed Ex tracking number; however no tracking number included.
Oct 29th, 2004 Another e-mail sent inquiring if they received the correct mounting instructions and also about the missing fedex number.
Oct 30th, 2004 Tried calling their number (after purchasing a calling card, didn't want to pay 20 cents a minute to stay on hold). Not open (Sat) contrary to what their website says.
Nov 1st, 2004 Called and talked to Julie who said shipping was backed up and that multiple shipments were suppose to go out. Still no tracking number.
Nov 2st, 2004 Called Julie again and said that I should begin to worry if I didn't get a tracking number by Nov 3rd.
Nov 4th, 2004 Got home to late on the 3rd to call. So this day I called and she was like "you didn't get a number?" (No I didn't that's why I'm calling). Received tracking number.
Nov 4th, 2004 Checked tracking number said "Package data transmitted to FedEx; package not in FedEx possession". Supposed receive date was Nov 9th.
Nov 8th, 2004 Fed Ex still says "Package data transmitted to FedEx; package not in FedEx possession". Called Fed Ex to make sure, they said they did not have the package in their possesion. Called Cupolo and spoke with a gentlemen there who said "Fed Ex's website was screwed up and they shipped".
Nov 9th, 2004 (Today) Check Fed Ex's website now says "Arrived at FedEx location

" Supposed receive date is now Nov 12th.
I'm in Denver on business with no new skis. And I'll be back out in Denver next week, hoping to have skis. I said nothing slanderous or outlandish here, just wanted to let members know what's going on.
I know Cupolo's has great prices (they really do), but I just want somebody to give me a real story when I call or respond when I write. Understandably things happen, but I paid real money for a product and would at least like to be updated on my purchase (in an honest way).
