Granted, I will not be skiing until the first week in December, but I have no gear.

Skis: Volant Platinums, on back order till (at least) 11/15. Goode C74's Still need to even try them.

Boots: Dalbello Kryptons, on order, should be here also about the 15th

Bindings: Salomon 912's, these I have from last year, NIB.

Clothes (for son): Should be shipped, CC has been charged.

Who else is in the same boat?

It's a Montana. Let me clarify, I have none of my new gear. I have my old Flexons and some old PowerKarves...but no new gear.

Don't worry - Just funnin' with you, buddy. My wife just handed me the same line when I told her that my kid doesn't have skis yet (ie, for this year).

The same fate worldwide: still waiting (Central Europe) for my Langes RL1 (due October, according to the Frenchmen) but surviving in old L10s. Further, waiting for a new slalom ski by the Czech brand SPORTEN, an updated version od last year´s prototype.
Last but not least, still finding out how much skiing my knee after a minor (arthroscopic) surgery holds not to get new items I wouldn´t be able to use fully.
And, finally, waiting for more snow in Europe. The situation is nor very good even on glaciers and the skis suffer from hard ice and some stones. (OTOH, it´s perfect for training, eliminating the transition from softer natural glacier snow to stonehard manmade surface the first races are on.) It´s mostly too warm for snowmaking even at those heights.
Generally, the waiting might be worse due to distances and technicalities between America/Canada and Europe. When, some years later, everything is Made in China or so, we Europeans will finally lose this advantage of ours .

Still waiting on my Apache Cheifs to arrive from K2.

I just got a new shoulder (re-constructive surgery) two weeks ago...does that count?

I'm thinking maybe a pair of metron b5's if a deal comes along like the group buy from Cupolo last year. Got SX11's out of that, what a smokin' deal! Doesn't sound like it will be happening this year, though..

Volants came today. I am not gonna mount them until I try the Goodes. If I like the Goodes better, I will ebay these.

Thinking about the B5s and maybe another pair of RX8s this year (this time with the Fischer/Tyrolia bindings). Haven't ordered yet, though.

I'm waiting for a pair of stock Nordica GSR's in a 176 or 181 and a pair of stock Nordica SLR's in a 155. So far no one has offered to purchase or give them to me... so im still waiting. I have a feeling that i will be waiting a long long long time... Oh well... maybe next season. Nordica does look like its going to be a really hot race ride this year though... we shall see.

I sold my equipment from last year, and am currently sans skis, bindings, poles. I am going to try to hold out until a 12/4 -- Attitash's Demo Day -- so that I can try everything, or at LEAST wait until the SnowSports Expo in Boston (http://www.onthesnow.com/bewi/) but I suspect I'll break down before then.

Finding new boards that I'd like to have is just TOO easy--why I have more skis now than I can make good use of. This year I MUST have new boots. Finding a good selection of ski boots in these parts is very difficult. Will probably have to wait until I make my first trip up to VT this season.

Langehorne or Danzien & Quigley. I KNOW Langhorne has a ton and always a good selection of leftovers, you have to scrounge, but its worth it. Ask for Dave Constanini, he is the owner, tell him I sent you. D&Q, although I haven't been there is a bit has a good selection too. I will be there next Sunday for their big sale. FWIU, Glen Plake will be there!
